Open-source and model licences
Slide-Easy is built on open-source software and openly licensed AI models. They're licensed to you under their own terms, not ours, and nothing in the Licence Terms limits your rights under them. This page is a summary. The full licence texts ship in the app: About › Licences.
FFmpeg (GPL)
Slide-Easy includes FFmpeg (ffmpeg.org), built by Remotion, which renders videos. This build includes x264 and x265, so it's licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later. Slide-Easy doesn't own FFmpeg. It runs as a separate program, and its licence doesn't extend to the rest of the app.

At setup, the app also downloads imageio-ffmpeg from PyPI. The wrapper is BSD-2-Clause; the FFmpeg program inside it is GPL.
