What's the catch with running on a Mac?
Your Mac does the work, so Slide-Easy needs an Apple silicon Mac (M1 or newer), macOS 15 or later, 16 GB of memory, and a one-time model download. That rules out Windows, Intel Macs and 8 GB Macs. The Mac is busy while it works: a finished post takes about 185 seconds on an M4 Pro, so the first week of posts arrives in about 10 to 30 minutes. In return there's no cloud rendering and no credit meter, which is why it can cost $49 once. Arcads runs in the browser, so any computer works.
